Rainbows program starting soon program starting soon
Rainbows 2018

Guthrie P.S. will once again be offering a weekly peer support group for our students who are going through painful life transitions (e.g. separation, divorce, death). Rainbows is an international, not-for-profit organization that fosters emotional healing among children. Staff members at Guthrie who have been trained with the Rainbows program will meet with small groups of students once a week during a fitness break, for approximately 12 weeks. Students will work through a journal and have the opportunity to share their feelings in a safe environment with peers going through a similar situation. If you would like your son/daughter to participate in Rainbows at Guthrie, forms are available in the office. We hope to begin Rainbows in February. Please return forms to the school by Monday, January 14th. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Liedtke or Mrs. Rutledge.
